Community Foundation Ireland is a philanthropic hub with a mission of
equality for all in thriving communities. Our work is grounded in four
strategic pillars: Inclusive Communities, Empowering Generations,
Accelerating Change, and Sustainable Futures. Our objective is to grow
philanthropy in Ireland as well as our assets and to deploy them for
impact.
Community Foundation Ireland is one of **Apply on the website**
community foundations globally and we work with individuals, families,
corporates and other charitable organisations to optimise their
philanthropic giving. As a philanthropic hub we partner with 5,**Apply
on the website** voluntary, community and charitable groups across the
country.
Since our establishment in **Apply on the website** we have with the
support of donors provided over €**Apply on the website** Million in
grant-making. Invested strategically this funding allows
ground-breaking work and research which is often solution driven and
takes a longer-term view.
The past three years have seen a period of rapid growth within
Community Foundation Ireland. Donations and income have grown
significantly in the period from circa €8m in **Apply on the

website**. This growth came through a variety of ways including the
growth and expansion of donations by existing donors, continuous
growth in the number of Donor Advised Funds and other donations to the
Community Foundation, as well as a number of large scale projects
including RTE does Comic Relief (**Apply on the website**), three
successful Toy Show Appeals (**Apply on the website**) and the Ireland
for Ukraine Fund (**Apply on the website**).
